ARRESTS
On October 1st Deputy Ward arrested James Elijah Lockhart from Stewartville , AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On October 1st Deputy Ward arrested Christopher Anthony Chapman from Kellyton , AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On October 1st Deputy Ward arrested Daniel Craig Barnett from Sylacauga , AL. on a warrant for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.
On October 3rd Sheriff Howell arrested Bryan Patrick Selby from Verbena, AL. on the charges of Driving under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.
On October 3rd Deputy Lucas arrested Carlos Desmond Patton from Oxford, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On October 5th Deputy Davenport arrested Kevin Ray Gooden Jr. from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On October 6th Deputy Davenport arrested Jonathan Allen Roberson from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Attempting to Elude. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On October 2nd Marble Valley Fire Department was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
STEWARTVILLE
On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Ham Road after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one person was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment.
On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
On October 1st Weogufka and Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy was dispatched to Lovette Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On October 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Sunnyside Circle after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On October 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
On October 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Bice Road after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On October 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Sunnyside Circle after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On October 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy spoke to the subject and warned them not to come back on the property.
On October 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Rustling Pines after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.
On October 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
WEOGUFKA
On October 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Mack Miller Drive after receiving a report of Criminal Trespassing. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On October 2nd Sylacauga Ambulance and Deputies were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On October 2nd Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a bicycle. A report was completed and one person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On October 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and one arrest was completed for Attempting to Elude.
On October 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the person and transported him to the County Line to help him on his way.
HANOVER
On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On September 30th a Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident involving a deer. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
MOUNT OLIVE
On October 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 511 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
KELLYTON
On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 65 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment.
On October 3rd Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 87 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On October 4th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 111 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
RICHVILLE
On September 30th Thomas Lawson Lamberth a Convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 29 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On October 3rd the Sheriff and Deputy Lucas attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where they presented the monthly crime report for the area.
ROCKFORD
On October 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
On October 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 129 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On October 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.
On October 6th Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to Washington Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
COTTAGE GROVE
On October 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a missing juvenile. A report was completed and after a brief investigation the juvenile was located.
EQUALITY
On October 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 33 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On October 3rd Equality First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 67 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On October 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On October 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 51 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.
RAY
On September 30th Alonzo NMN Blackmon a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 73 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On October 1st local fire Departments were dispatched to CR 32 after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On October 2nd Joseph Craig Hay a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 135 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On October 4th local Fire Departments were dispatched to Hwy 22 on two separate brush fires. The fires were extinguished without incident.
On October 6th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 338 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
LAKE MARTIN
On October 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Woodvine Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On October 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Woodvine Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
LAKE MITCHELL
On October 6th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to CR 110 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Baptist Hospital in Prattville.
