Michael Mull Began his career in 1992 by volunteering for the United States Army. Gaining certification as a Military Police Officer, Cpt. Mull served all over the world providing Law Enforcement Support. Exiting the Military Cpt. Mull was hired by the Sylacauga Police Department as a Corrections/911 Dispatcher, where he gained education and experience. Mull received several awards while employed there including a Meritorious Service Award. Michael Mull began his employment with the Coosa County Sheriff's Office in 2007. He holds several primary responsibilities including managing the overall safety and security of inmates confined within the Coosa County Jail, the management of the Coosa County 911 Dispatch Center, and managing the security of the Coosa County Courthouse. Cpt. Mull manages a team of 11 Correctional Officers/ 911 Operators and 3 Courthouse Security Officers. His additional duties include being the Agency Intelligence and Security Officer, the Agency Computer and Information Technology Officer, Grant Manager, Property Inventory Manager, the Military Law Enforcement Support Office Program Manager, and Managing the Jail Budget.
Since his employment Cpt. Mull has worked with the administrative staff in enhancing the operational effectiveness of the Coosa County Sheriff's Office. Cpt. Mull has received several Awards for Dedication to Duty and Meritorious Service.
