ARRESTS

On October 31st, Deputy Cook arrested Christopher Carl Kirk JR, a resident of Sylacauga, Alabama, on the charges of Failure to Appear in Court X 2. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $1,000 bond.

On October 31st, Deputy Cook arrested Joshua Eugene Kelley, a resident of Weogufka, Alabama, on the charge of Probation Violation. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

On November 1st, Deputy Scott arrested Lamichael James Williams, a resident of Sylacauga, Alabama, on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2,500 bond.

On November 4th, Investigator Ward arrested Weigang Liang, a resident of Monterey Park, California, on the charge of Theft by Deception 1st. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $75,000 bond.

On November 4th, Deputy Cook arrested Undra Lashune Buchanan, a resident of Vincent, Alabama, on the charges of Failure to Appear in Court X 2. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $653.10 cash payout.

STEWARTVILLE

On October 31st, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 78 after receiving reports of an Assault. A report was taken.

On November 1st, Deputies were dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. After questioning, no report was wanted or needed.

On November 2nd, Deputies were dispatched Coosa County Road 53 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. The deputies made contact with both the caller and the subject and a report was taken.

On November 4th, Deputies were dispatched to Antique Valley after receiving reports of a noise complaint. Deputies made contact with the subject and they agreed to cease the noise. No report was wanted or needed.

On November 4th, Deputies were dispatched Live Oaks Lane after receiving a request for a welfare check. Upon arriving at the residence and identifying subjects at the residence it was found that one subject had an active warrant for Childersburg, Alabama. The subject was then transported and turned over to Childersburg Police Department.

WEOGUFKA

On November 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 55 after receiving reports of a Burglary. The caller advised when she returned home her front door was open and requested Deputies to assist. Upon arrival, Deputies did a walk through on the residence with no discrepancies. No report was wanted or needed.

HANOVER

On October 30th, Deputies were dispatched to Ben Pruitt Drive after receiving reports of a civil disturbance. Negative contact was made with subject.

On November 1st, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 59 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. The caller advised her belongings were being thrown into the yard. A report was taken and advice was given.

On November 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted until a tow truck arrived.

MT OLIVE

On November 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving reports of a civil dispute. The caller advised she needed assistance retrieving her property from a residence. Deputies assisted; no report was wanted or needed.

KENYO

On November 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 40 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. The caller advised a black truck is on the side of the road with no people in the vehicle. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the owner of the vehicle and they were working on fixing it.

KELLYTON

On November 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to Highway 280 and McClellan Road after receiving reports of Theft of Property. The caller advised their car was broken into and items were stolen. A report was taken and the case was turned over to Investigations.

On November 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 and US Highway 9 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. The caller advised that she is on the side of the road broken down and has called a tow truck but would feel safer with a deputy present. Deputies assisted until a tow truck arrived.

On November 4th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputies checked business and determined the alarm to be false

On November 4th, Deputies were dispatched to Elm Trail after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. Deputies made contact; no report was wanted or needed.

ROCKFORD

On November 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to an animal call on US Highway 22. The caller advised two horses were on the loose. Deputies were able to secure the horses until the owners arrived. The horses were returned to the owners.

On November 4th, Deputies were dispatched to Robinson Road after receiving reports of property damage. The caller advised their house was hit with a car and wanted a report for insurance purposes. A report was taken.

RAY

On October 30th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 73 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. The caller advised the subject was destroying the home. Upon arrival, the caller did not want to file a report.

On October 31st, Deputies were dispatched to Addition Lane after receiving reports of Criminal Mischief. The caller advised that someone was tampering with her vehicle. A report was taken.

On October 31st, Deputies, Coosa EMS, and Ray Fire Department were dispatched to AL State Highway 259 and Coosa County Road 92 after receiving reports of a two car vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to ALEA.

On November 4th, Deputies were dispatched to AL State Highway 259 after receiving reports of a civil disturbance. The caller advised there was a female at his residence that is refusing to leave. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the female and transported her from the residence. No report was wanted or needed.

On November 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 119 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. The caller advised that his girlfriend is moving out and taking items that do not belong to her. Upon arrival, Deputies assisted the situation and no report was wanted or needed.

LAKE MARTIN

On November 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Pleasure Island Drive after receiving reports of a civil dispute. The incident was a civil matter and no report was needed. Advice was given.

LAKE MITCHELL

On November 4th, Deputies were dispatched to Cedar Creek Road after receiving reports of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked residence and determined one door was unsecure. Deputies notified resident.

SALEM

On October 30th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 48 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. The caller advised there was a vehicle at her neighbor’s house that did not belong. Negative contact was made with said vehicle.
