JAIL POPULATION AS OF MAY 27 (24 MALES & 7 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 31 INMATES
ARRESTS
On May 21st Capt. Hammond arrested Curtis Lekelvin Robinson from Montgomery, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Theft of Property 1st, Theft of Property 2nd, and Burglary 3rd X 2 . He was processed and released on a $ 40,000 bond to await trial.
On May 22nd Lt. Burke arrested George Edward Mehan from Jacksons Gap, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Theft of Property 4th and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and released on a $12,000 bond to await trial.
On May 22nd Lt. Keel arrested Joshua Ryan Windsor from Alexander City, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Theft of Property 1st and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.
On May 22nd Lt. Keel arrested Allen Raye Wesson from Alexander City, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Theft of Property 4th and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 12,000 bond to await trial.
On May 22nd Deputy Richardson arrested Diego Quatez Johnson from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Menacing. He was processed and released on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.
On May 26th Deputy Rudd arrested Joshua Glenn Saffold from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Concealed Pistol without a Permit. He was processed and released on a $ 9,000 bond to await trial.
On May 26th Deputy Rudd arrested Kytn William Wentzell from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 7,000 bond to await trial.
On May 27th Deputy Richardson arrested Arthur David Payne from Eclectic, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 100,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On May 21st Stewartville, Hanover and Weogufka Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment was completed after one of the parties had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On May 24th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Shiloh Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On May 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an Attempted Burglary. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.
ON May 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
On May 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On May 27th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 74 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
WEOGUFKA
On May 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
HANOVER
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the area prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
MOUNT OLIVE
On May 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the subject and determined that everything was ok.
KELLYTON
On May 21st Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 24th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 115 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On May 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Church Street after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On May 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle which appeared to be disabled.
On May 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On May 27th Ray and Kellyton Fire Departments were dispatched to Elm Trail after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
RICHVILLE
On May 23rd Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 19 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 26th Richville First Responders and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 37 after receiving a report of an ATV accident. Three subjects were transported to Russell Medical Center.
SPEED
On May 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 10 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On May 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On May 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On May 27th Kellyton Medics a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 93 after receiving a report of an accident involving a motorcycle and a deer. The subject on the motorcycle was deceased and the scene was turned over to the Trooper and Coroner.
EQUALITY
On May 22nd Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 259 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
On May 27th Equality First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
RAY
On May 26th Ray First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On May 22nd a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On May 23rd Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 132 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
LAKE MITCHELL
On May 27th Richville First Responders, Haynes Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to Bluff Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.
