JAIL POPULATION AS OF MARCH 15 (23 MALES & 7 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 30 INMATES
ARRESTS
On March 9th Deputy Dawson arrested Rodney Kinta Oliver from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $30,000 bond to await trial.
On March 12th Investigator Keel arrested Sarah Christine Gannon from Grant, AL. on the charges of Hindering Prosecution 1st, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $20,000 bond to await trial.
On March 13th Deputy Ward arrested Charles Wade Weldon from Kellyton, AL. on the charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.
On March 14th Deputy Ward arrested Joseph Patrick Tumlin from Goodwater, AL. for a Probation Violation. He was processed and booked into the County Jail without bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On March 12th Deputies were dispatched to CR 68 after DHR requested their assistance with a welfare visit. The welfare visit was completed without incident.
On March 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person walking in the roadway. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.
On March 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On March 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.
On March 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and the one causing the problem was escorted from the property.
WEOGUFKA
On March 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a viscous dog. The Deputy spoke with the owner of the animal and the issue was resolved without incident.
HANOVER
On March 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On March 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 59 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
KEYNO
On March 10th Ray First Responders were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
On March 12th Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 103 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene turned over to the Coroner.
GOODWATER
On March 13th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. The Deputy completed a report and the warrant process was explained.
On March 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Skyview Lane after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the subject and determined they needed medical attention. Kellyton Medics transported the resident to Russell Medical Center.
KELLYTON
On March 10th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Longtree Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On March 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On March 12th Alexander City Fire Medics and Deputies were dispatched to Tallacoosa Trailer Park after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
On March 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On March 15th Kellyton and Goodwater Medics, Alexander City Fire Medics, Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two individuals were airlifted to local hospitals and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
ROCKFORD
On March 9th Kellyton Medics, Rockford First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. One was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On March 11th Rockford First Responders were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
On March 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Shelley Riggins Road after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On March 14th Kellyton Medics and Rockford First Responders were dispatched to Hill Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On March 14th Rockford and Richville First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was airlifted to a local hospital and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
EQUALITY
On March 13th Dwain Anthony Lewis a convicted Sex Offender reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
RAY
On March 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the property was located and returned to the owner.
SMYRNA
On March 9th Deputy Ward and Deputy Dawson attended the monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting were they presented the current crime report for the area.
On March 14th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
