JAIL POPULATION AS OF APRIL 1 (20 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 24 INMATES
ARRESTS
On March 29th Deputy Davenport arrested Dustin Leon Carr from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.
On March 29th Deputy Davenport arrested Jaron Tait Compton from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Failure to Display Insurance and Expired Tag. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.
On March 31st Deputy Rudd arrested Charles Vann Milam from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Failure to Display Insurance, Driving While Revoked, Expired Tag and Improper Parking. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $4000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On March 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On March 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and no contact was made.
On March 27th Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On March 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute in a vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and no contact was made with the vehicle.
WEOGUFKA
On March 26th Robert Clay Schrader a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 56 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On March 28th Weogufka Fire was dispatched to CR 16 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
HANOVER
On March 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 59 after a resident reported several dogs attacking their livestock. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and advised them of their options.
On April 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of someone shooting firearms. The Deputy located the source of the gunshots and determined that everything was ok.
MOUNT OLIVE
On March 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 and CR 511 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it was disabled.
KEYNO
On March28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of an unwanted person at a residence. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
KELLYTON
On March 26th Danny Jerome Hanson a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 28 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On March 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On March 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute at a business. The subjects causing the problems had left the business prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
RICHVILLE
On March 30th Richville First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of an Unresponsive Person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
ROCKFORD
On March 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 152 after receiving a complaint about dogs running wild. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and advised them of their options.
On March 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Jolene Street after receiving a report of Harassment. The Deputy spoke to the Complainant and advised them of their options.
On March 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and gathered information about the incident.
SPEED
On March 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the person and transported them to the county line to help them out.
On March 29th Rockford First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On March 27th Rockford First Responders and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 93 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On March 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 311 after receiving a report of an unwanted person at a residence. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
EQUALITY
On April 1st Equality Fire and the Alabama Forestry Department were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a woods fire. The fire was contained without incident.
RAY
On March 26th A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On March 26th Stewartville and Hanover Fire Departments were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
