ARRESTS
On March 16th, Corporal Moon arrested Oliver Lewayne Hamilton of Sylacauga on warrants for FTA-Theft of Property 4th, FTA-Switched Tag and FTA-Driving While Revoked. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $5000 bond.
On March 16th, Judge Malone ordered Kenneth Ray Hallman of Ashland, AL to serve a 5 day sanction. He was booked into the Cosa County Jail with no bond.
On March 17th, Sheriff Howell arrested Clayton Lewis Wooten of Rockford, AL for Domestic Violence 3rd. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $2500 bond.
On March 18th, Investigator Keel arrested Jeffrey Robert Lee of Richville, AL on a warrant for Probation Revocation. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
On March 19th, Investigator Fenn arrested John Stacy Gilbert of Rockford, AL on a warrant for Probation Revocation. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
On March 19th, Investigator Fenn arrested Kayla Diane Sweat of Kellyton, AL on a warrant for FTA-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $2000 bond.
On March 19th, Corporal Rudd arrested Christopher Blake Plexico of Sylacauga, AL on a warrant for FTA-Having Alcohol while Hunting. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
On March 20th, Deputy Dawson arrested Dequetrik Jardez Wilson of Alex City, AL on warrants for FTA-Possession of Marijuana 2nd, FTA-Fishing Without Permission and FTA-Failure to Register Vehicle. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with $6000 bond.
On March 21st, Deputy Dawson arrested Nicholas Lyrone Odem of Montgomery, AL on a warrant for Probation Revocation. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
On March 21st, Corporal Rudd arrested John Gary Bailey of Clanton, AL on warrants for Harassing Communications and Criminal Trespass 3rd. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $1000 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On March 15th, Deputies were dispatched to CR70 for a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
On March 15th, Stewartville VFD, Sylacauga Ambulance, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of US231 for a motor vehicle accident. One injury was reported and the patient was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center. The scene was turned over to Troopers for investigation.
On March 16th, Harry James Embry Jr., a registered Sex Offender, who lives on CR74, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his quarterly Sex Offender registration.
On March 19th, Stewartville VFD, Weogufka VFD and Deputies were dispatched to Sunnyside Circle for a structure fire. No injuries were reported. A report was completed for investigators.
On March 21st, Deputies were dispatched to CR39 for a private property vehicle accident. A report was completed for insurance purposes.
On March 21st, Deputies were dispatched to CR68 for a report of damage to a home. A report was completed for Criminal Mischief and is still under investigation.
WEOGUFKA
On March 20th, Deputies were dispatched to Cedar Circle for a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and is still under investigation.
HANOVER
On March 16th, a Deputy was dispatched to the Hanover Neighborhood Watch meeting.
On March 19th, Deputies were dispatched to CR75 for a domestic incident. No report was wanted. One subject had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On March 21st, Deputies were dispatched to the Coosa / Talladega County line to transport a subject to Alex City. The Deputy met Sylacauga PD and escorted the female to Alex City. No report was needed.
MT OLIVE
On March 18th, Deputies were dispatched to Cripple Creek Trail for a domestic dispute. The male subject had left prior to the Deputy’s arrival. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
On March 19th, Deputies were dispatched to Cripple Creek Trail for a report of Harassment. A report was filed and the incident is still under investigation.
KEYNO
On March 17th, Deputies were dispatched to CR40 for a tree on powerline blocking road. Deputies stayed on scene until the roadway was clear. No report was needed.
GOODWATER
On March 16th, Rossmirrio Harrell, a registered Sex Offender, who lives on Marbury Lane, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his quarterly Sex Offender registration.
On March 16th, Freddie Burton, a registered Sex Offender, who lives on Davis Family Lane, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his quarterly Sex Offender registration.

On March 21st, Deputies were dispatched to McClellan Industrial Lane for a business alarm. Once on scene, the Deputy checked all doors and windows. Everything was secure, the alarm appeared to be false. No report needed.
RICHVILLE
On March 15th, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 22 for a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers.
