JAIL POPULATION AS OF MARCH 17 (30 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 34 INMATES
ARRESTS
On March 11th Deputy Davenport arrested Joseph Bradley Russell from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Assault 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.
On March 11th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Christopher Anthony Chapman from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Disorderly Conduct. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.
On March 13th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Michael Jason Johns from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On March 13th Deputy Davenport arrested Christopher Adam Grantham from Childersburg on the charge of Assault 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.
On March 14th Deputy Davenport arrested Brian Jesus Jackson from Goodwater, AL. on an Out of State Warrant. He was processed and held pending extradition.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On March 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On March 13th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 150 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On March 15th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On March 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On March 16th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 53 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On March 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On March 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Rustling Pines Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd and the warrant process was explained.
On March 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 74 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the civil process was explained.
HANOVER
On March 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 157 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.
On March 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not located the vehicle.
On March 16th Hanover First Responders and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to Rolling Mountain Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
GOODWATER
On March 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
KELLYTON
On March 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Johnson Street after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On March 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 65 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy located the subject causing the problems and they were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the County Jail.
On March 14th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On March 16th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hollowood Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
RICHVILLE
On March 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 37 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
ROCKFORD
On March 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On March 13th Rockford Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a business fire alarm. The business was checked and it was determined that the alarm was false.
COTTAGE GROVE
On March 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.
On March 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
EQUALITY
On March 15th Equality Fire Department was dispatched to CR 67 after receiving a report of a residential fire alarm. The residence was checked and it was determined that the alarm was false.
On March 15th Dwain Anthony Lewis a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 98 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
RAY
On March 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 72 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.
On March 15th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On March 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
LAKE MARTIN
On March 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Carnation Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On March 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Needle Eye Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On March 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Robin Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On March 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Kowliga Kove after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On March 14th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
SALEM
On March 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Browns Loop after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy spoke to the person and determined that they were ok.
SMYRNA
On March 11th Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
