JAIL POPULATION AS OF July 5 (23 MALES & 9 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 32 INMATES
ARRESTS
On June 29th Deputy Ward arrested Jeremy Wayne Taylor from Weogufka, Al., on the charges of Receiving Stolen Property 3rd and Promoting Prison Contraband 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $7,500 bond to await trial.
On June 29th Deputy Reed arrested Laruan Terrell Darby from Kellyton on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance and Failure to Appear/ Driving While Suspended. He was processed and booked into the County Jail with no bond to await trial.
On June 30th Deputy Ward arrested Brandon Dejuan Gaddis from Sylacauga, Al., on a Grand Jury Indictment/Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2,500 bond to await trial.
On July 1st Deputy Dawson arrested Bradley Edward Wells Jr from Sylacauga, Al., on the charge of Disorderly Conduct. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $500 bond to await trial.
On July 2nd Corporal Moon arrested Scott William McCook Jr from Sylacauga, Al., on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Criminal Trespassing 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail with no bond to await trial.
On July 2nd Deputy Dawson arrested Billy Jean Jordan Jr from Alexander City, Al., on the charge of Criminal Trespassing 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $500 bond to await trial.
On July 3rd Corporal Moon arrested Jamison Scott Salter from Sylacauga, Al., on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $1,000 bond to await trial.
On July 3rd Deputy Reed arrested Terry Louis Kelly from Ensley, Al., on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Terroristic Threat and Failure to Appear/Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $15,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On July 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
STEWARTVILLE
On July 1st Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On July 2nd Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was transported to UAB hospital in Birmingham, Al., and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On July 2nd Stewartville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On July 2nd Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On July 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On July 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On July 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On July 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined the vehicle to appear to be disabled.
WEOGUFKA
On June 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On June 30th Weogufka and Hanover First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 107 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
HANOVER
On June 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 34 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.
On July 2nd Hanover First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
MOUNT OLIVE
On July 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate anyone.
KELLYTON
On June 29th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 46 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On June 29th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Long Tree Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On June 30th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 62 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On June 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 77 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 30th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 50 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to East Alabama Medical Center.
On July 1st Kellyton Medics a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On July 2nd Kellyton Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to CR 81 after receiving a report of a residential fire alarm. The Fire Department checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On July 4th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
RICHVILLE
On July 5th Richville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to CR 137 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
EQUALITY
On June 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a business alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 307 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
RAY
On July 2nd Deputies were dispatched to CR 322 after receiving a report for Trespassing. A report was completed and one was arrested for Trespassing.
On July 2nd Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 259 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On July 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.
LAKE MARTIN
On July 2nd Haynes Ambulance and Deputies were dispatched to Pleasure Island Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene turned over to the Coroner.
On July 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Ivy Shores Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On July 4th Haynes Ambulance and a Deputy was dispatched to Needle Eye Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
LAKE MITCHELL
On July 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Mimosa Point after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
SMYRNA
On July 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Dickey Lane after receiving a report for Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
