ARRESTS
On June 1st Deputy Ward arrested Wesley Joe Cosby from Camp Hill, AL. on a warrant for Menacing. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.
On June 2nd Deputy Ward arrested Kenneth Ray Hallman from Ashland, AL. on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.
On June 2nd Deputy Ward arrested Michael Joseph Godin Jr. from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On June 3rd Deputy Dawson arrested Jeremy Scott Smith from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Chemical Endangerment of a Child X 2. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.
On June 3rd Deputy Fenn arrested Willie McKinney Jr. from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Buying/Receiving Stolen Property. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 to await trial.
On June 3rd Deputy Fenn arrested Scottie Tories McKinney from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 7,500 bond to await trial.
On June 7th Deputy Reed arrested Hayden Danielle Ellerbee from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Assault 3rd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On June 1st Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to Harvest Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On June 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Assault. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On June 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy spoke with all parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On June 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Harvest Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and transported them to the nearest gas station.
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
On June 6th Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 68 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On June 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On June 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On June 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Ham Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
WEOGUFKA
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Memorial Loop after receiving a report of an abandoned vehicle in the roadway. The Deputy checked the vehicle and had it towed to remove it from the roadway.
HANOVER
On June 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of shots being fired. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the source of the shots.
MT OLIVE
On June 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 38 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On June 3rd Scott Alexander Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Gamble Drive presented to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
GOODWATER
On June 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Dickey Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of shots fired. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not hear any shots being fired.
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Dickey Lane after receiving a report of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On June 6th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 511 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
KELLYTON
On June 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Longtree Drive after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On June 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 323 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On June 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On June 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On June 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 126 after receiving a request from another agency to check a residence. The Deputy checked the residence and arrested two individuals who had warrants from another agency.
On June 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 at Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. One was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd.
RICHVILLE
On June 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
ROCKFORD
On June 1st Deputy Ward attended the Union Square monthly Neighborhood Watch meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for this area.
On June 4th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 18 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On June 4th Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 40 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
EQUALITY
On June 3rd Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 4 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On June 4th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Tiger Creek after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
RAY
On June 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of an animal being in roadway. The animal was out of the roadway prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On June 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Thomas Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On June 3rd Ray Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Sunny Pine Drive after receiving a report of a possible fire. They checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Blue Gill Cove after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
LAKE MARTIN
On June 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Bywater Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Ivy Shores after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On June 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Needle Eye Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
LAKE MITCHELL
On June 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 121 after receiving a report of an abandoned vehicle. The Deputy checked the vehicle and had it towed due to it being in the roadway.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On June 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a request for a residential check. The Deputy checked the residence and determined everything to be ok.
On June 4th Weogufka and Marble Valley First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 55 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
