JAIL POPULATION AS OF JULY 22 (25 MALES & 7 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 32 INMATES
ARRESTS
On July 16th Captain Hammond arrested Anthony Edward Sharpston from Rockford, AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 3rd , Burglary 3rd and Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.
On July 16th Deputy Rudd arrested Tobey Cornelius Smith from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On July 17th Deputy Rudd arrested Rebecca Leigh Price from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. She was processed and released on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.
On July 17th Lt. Keel arrested Dylan Wayne Curtis from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/ Theft of Property 1st and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 3,000 bond to await trial.
On July 18th Captain Hammond arrested Laraun Terrell Darby from Kellyton, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Driving While Suspended and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On July 19th Lt. Burke arrested Thomas Earl Moore from Tallassee, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay /Public Intoxication. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On July 19th Deputy Davenport arrested Carnell Dewayne Fowler from Bessemer, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/No Driver’s License. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On July 21st Sylacauga Ambulance a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Breezy Point Lane after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
STEWARTVILLE
On July 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and one person was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment.
On July 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On July 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On July 17th Billy Louis Ford SR. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 150 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.
On July 18th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
On July 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Mack Miller Drive after receiving a report of Trespassing. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On July 20th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
On July 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Rustling Pines Lane after receiving a report of an Unwanted Person. After speaking to the complainant, a report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.
On July 21st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On July 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Shiloh Park after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and the issue was resolved without incident.
WEOGUFKA
On July 19th Deputy Davenport attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
HANOVER
On July 17th Brandon Alan Krueger a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Payne Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
MOUNT OLIVE
On July 20th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
KEYNO
On July 17th Jimmy Reed Nickolson III a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 28 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
GOODWATER
On July 17th Stacey Bernard McKinney a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 52 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 17th Raul George Sarasa II a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Rich Circle reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON
On July 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hayes Street after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the loud music.
On July 17th Thomas Louis Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 85 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 17th Kenneth Roger Peppers a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Firehouse Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 17th Charles Rufus Gardner a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Trailer Park Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the subject that was causing the problems, left the residence and was warned about coming back on the property.
RICHVILLE
On July 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 459 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
ROCKFORD
On July 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.
On July 17th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On July 17th Adam Kyle Ivey a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hill Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 109 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On July 21st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On July 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
SPEED
On July 20th Equality First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 10 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On July 17th William Louis Leonard a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 101 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 21st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On July 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
EQUALITY
On July 18th Equality First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 98 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On July 20th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 33 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On July 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Tar Bucket Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
RAY
On July 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and the vehicle was not located.
On July 17th J.C. Winslett Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 22 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On July 17th Joseph Craig Hay a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 135 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
LAKE MARTIN
On July 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Atwater Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On July 21st Richville and Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and a Game and Fish Warden was dispatched to the Lake Mitchell area after receiving a 911 call about two subjects lost in the woods. After a brief search the subjects were located and one of them was transported to Russell Medical Center.
