ARRESTS

On January 3^rd, Deputy Scott arrested Alexander Robert Trott of Sylacauga, Al for Possession of Marijuana 2^nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed in the Coosa County Jail on a $4,000 bond.

On January 4^th, Deputy Scott arrested Deandre Trendale Callens of Selma, Al, for Possession of Marijuana 1^st. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

On January 6^th, Chief Deputy Long arrested Shelby Ray Stokes of Atlanta, Ga for Burglary 3^rd, and Theft of Property 1^st x2. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on $60,000 bond.

On January 7^th, Deputy Bradberry arrested Christopher Hugh Whiddon of Goodwater, Al for Drug Trafficking, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $82,500 bond.

On January 9^th, Deputy Scott arrested Steven James Cote of Sylacauga, Al for Probation Violation. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail without bond.

STEWARTVILLE

On January 6^th, deputies were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.

On January 7^th, deputies were dispatched to US HWY 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On January 7^th, deputies were dispatched to Hallman Dr. after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On January 7^th, deputies were dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On January 3^rd, deputies were dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a Burglary. A report was taken and case is under investigation.

On January 4^th, deputies were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving notification of a Death. A report was taken and scene was released to the Coosa County Coroner.

On January 9^th, deputies were dispatched to Duke Trailor Park after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputy spoke with all persons involved and situation was resolved without a report.

GOODWATER

On January 4^th, Kenneth Ray Swindell, a resident of Queen St. Goodwater, AL reported to the Coosa County Sheriff to update his Sex Offender registration information.

KELLYTON

On January 7^th, the Litter Abatement Officer was dispatched to Ireland Way after receiving reports of Illegal Dumping. Litter was picked up and case is under investigation.

MT OLIVE

On January 4^th, Howard Kelley Jr., a resident of Broken Arrowhead Rd. Mt Olive, AL reported to the Coosa County Sheriff to update his Sex Offender registration information.

ROCKFORD

On January 3^rd, the Litter Abatement Officer was dispatched to CR 18 after receiving reports of Illegal Dumping. Litter was picked up and case is under investigation.
