ARRESTS
On January 14th Deputy Davenport arrested Cheryl Leigh Smith from Stewartville, Al. on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault, Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Hindering Prosecution 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 7,500 bond to await trial.
On January 15th Deputy Davenport arrested James Derek Moore from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On January 15th Deputy Rudd arrested Elmore Orlando Dudley from Montgomery, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Drivers License. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On January 17th Lt. Keel arrested Preston Dewayne Lindenthaler from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Criminal Littering. He was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On January 18th Deputy Jones arrested On January 18th Deputy Jones arrested Normand Gilchrist Kirby from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $2,000 bond to await trial.
On January 18th Deputy Rudd arrested Dustin Leon Carr on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On January 20th Deputy Davenport arrested Steven Brian Culver from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On January 14th Deputies were dispatched to Rustling Pines Road after receiving a report of a Domestic Dispute. A report was completed and one person was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.
On January 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 15th Billy Louis Ford SR. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 150 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 16th Thomas Eugene Gamble Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 41 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 16th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On January 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
WEOGUFKA
On January 16th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Littering. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 17th Deputy Cook attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the crime report for the area.
On January 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On January 17th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 20th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.
HANOVER
On January 15th Brandon Alan Krueger a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Payne Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
MOUNT OLIVE
On January 19th Sylacauga Ambulance, Goodwater Fire Department, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 511 near CR 49 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
KEYNO
On January 15th Jimmy Reed Nickolson III a convicted Sex Offender reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
GOODWATER
On January 15th Raul George Sarasa II a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Rich Circle reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 15th Cedric Lamar Debardelabon a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Old Dam Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
KELLYTON
On January 14th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 119 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On January 15th Thomas Lewis Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 85 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 15th Charles Rufus Gardner a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Trailer Park Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 15th Kenneth Roger Peppers a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Firehouse Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 17th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On January 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 28 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.
On January 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and it appeared to be disabled.
RICHVILLE
On January 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
ROCKFORD
On January 16th Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On January 16th Adam Kyle Ivey a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hill Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 20th Rockford Fire Department was dispatched to Shelly Riggans Road after receiving a report of a Carbon Monoxide alarm activated at a residence. They checked the residence and determined that everything was ok.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On January 15th William Lewis Leonard a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 101 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 133 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
EQUALITY
On January 19th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On January 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a horse that had become stuck in the mud. The Deputy assisted the owners in getting the horse back into the barn.
RAY
On January 15th William Hall Thornton a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 22 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 15th Joseph Craig Hay a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 135 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.
On January 19th Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 32 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On January 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
LAKE MARTIN
On January 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Sweet Gum Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On January 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 2 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
