JAIL POPULATION AS OF JANUARY 17TH (17 MALES & 3 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 20 INMATES
ARRESTS
On January 12th, Deputy Bradberry arrested Cheryl Leigh Smith of Sylacauga, AL for DUI and Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $4500 bond.
On January 12th, Investigator Keel arrested Tyra Jordan Faulkner of Sylacauga, AL on warrants for 3 counts of Promoting Prison Contraband, 2 counts of Burglary 3rd, Theft of Property 3rd, Theft of Property 4th, Writ of Arrest for Receiving Stolen Property 1st, Writ of Arrest for Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement, Writ of Arrest for Reckless Endangerment, Writ of Arrest for Failure to Register Vehicle, Writ of Arrest for Failure to Wear Seat Belt, Writ of Arrest for Failure to Stop at Stop Sign and Writ of Arrest for Operating Vehicle with no Insurance. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail with no bond at this time.
On January 14th, Corporal Rudd arrested Rodney Quindez Robinson of Kellyton, AL on a warrant for Assault 2nd. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $5000 bond.
On January 17th, Deputy Ward arrested Jessie Dewain Nelson of Alexander City, AL for DUI. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $2000 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On January 11th, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of CR53 for a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers.
On January 12th, Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of CR53 for an unwanted person. The person crashed through the gate and fled the scene. A chase ensued resulting in the arrest of the female subject.
On January 12th, Deputies were dispatched to Shiloh Drive for a report of livestock in the roadway. Deputies arrived on scene and could not find anything. No report was needed.
On January 13th, Deputies assisted a motorist to get through the county to Russell Medical Center for a medical emergency. This was a call for service and no report was needed.
On January 13th, Stewartville VFD and Deputies were dispatched to US231 for a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported, and no accident report was needed.
On January 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of CR150 for a report of Criminal Mischief. An I/O report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
On January 14th, Deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of CR41 for an Assault. The Deputy spoke with all parties involved and a resolution was reached. An I/O report was comp0leted for and the incident is still under investigation.
WEOGUFKA
On January 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of CR183 for a domestic dispute. One subject left prior to the Deputies arrival, however he did return while the Deputy was there. He spoke with all parties involved and had one person leave the residence. No report was needed at this time.
On January 15th, Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of CR29 and CR35 for a welfare check. When Deputies arrived they made contact with the person. No report was needed.
On January 15th, Rodney Lewis Robinson, a registered Sex Offender, who lives on old US231, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his quarterly Sex Offender registration.
On January 15th, A Deputy was dispatched to the 8000 block of CR56 for a report of a dog killing his livestock. A report was taken and the incident is still under investigation.
On January 17th, Deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of CR29 for a report of a Stolen Vehicle. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
HANOVER
On January 13th, Deputies were dispatched to US HWY280 to assist a towing company with traffic while they loaded a van on a roll back. This was a call for service and no report was needed.
On January 13th, Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of US HWY280 and CR49 for a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to Troopers.
MT OLIVE
On January 12th, A Deputy was dispatched to the 1600 block of CR116 for a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and the incident is still under investigation.
GOODWATER
On January 15th, Deputies were dispatched to CR511 for a domestic dispute. One of the subjects left prior the Deputies arrival. A report was taken and the incident is still under investigation.
KELLYTON
On January 11th, Kellyton VFD and EMS along with Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to CR85 for a motor vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center. The scene was turned over to Troopers for further investigation.
On January 12th, A Deputy was dispatched to AL HWY115 for a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
On January 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 11000 block of US HWY280 for a residential alarm. The Deputy checked all doors and windows upon arrival and deemed the alarm to be false. No report was needed.
On January 13th, Deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of CR77 for a report of an animal being shot in the area. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
On January 17th, Deputies were dispatched to McClellan Road for a dispute. The Deputy spoke with all parties involved and a report was completed. The incident is still under investigation.
ROCKFORD
On January 13th, a resident from Coosada Street came to the Sheriff’s Office to file a report of items being stolen from his residence. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
EQUALITY
On January 11th, a Deputy was dispatched to CR50 for a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
On January 13th, Deputies were dispatched to CR51 for a report of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation at this time.
On January 14th, Deputies were dispatched to AL HWY9 for a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
RAY
On January 11th, Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of AL HWY22 and CR40 for a report of shots fired. Once on scene, the Deputy had no contact with any one shooting or heard any shots in the area. This was a call for service and no report was needed.
On January 12th, Kellyton VFD and EMS along with Alabama State Troopers and Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of AL HWY22 for a motor vehicle accident. 2 injuries were reported and both were transported to Russell Medical Center. Alabama State Troopers are investigating the incident.
On January 13th, Deputies were dispatched to CR71 for a report of a Burglary and Theft of Property. An I/O report was completed and the incident is still under investigation.
SALEM
On January 16th, a Deputy was dispatched to the 7000 block of CR107 for a report of Property Damage. A report was completed and is currently under investigation.
