JAIL POPULATION AS OF MARCH 1 (16 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 22 INMATES
ARRESTS
On February 24th Deputy Ward arrested Coris Devol Cook from Alpine, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On February 25th Investigator Keel arrested Michael Adam Patterson from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.
On February 27th Deputy Dawson arrested Jalen NMN Kelley from Jackson Gap, AL. on warrants for No Child Restraint and Speeding. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On February 28th Deputy Rudd arrested Dustin Leon Carr from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Driving While Revoked and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On February 29th Deputy Ward arrested Marchello Orlanis Searcy from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Attempting to Elude, Reckless Endangerment and Reckless Driving. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 15,000 bond to await trial.
On February 29th Deputy ward arrested Courtney Rachelle Cook from Midland City, AL. on a warrant for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 25,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On February 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On February 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Chatham Road after receiving a report of a Burglary. A Report was completed a report and the case is under investigation.
On February 27th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 53 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On February 28th Stewartville Fire Department and a Deputy were dispatched to Gilliland Lane after receiving a report of a vehicle fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On March 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of shots being fired in the area. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not hear any gun shots.
HANOVER
On February 28th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
KEYNO
On February 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
GOODWATER
On February 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 81 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with the complainant and explained the civil process.
On February 28th Goodwater Ambulance was dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On March 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On March 1st Goodwater First Responders, Goodwater Police Department a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Queen Street after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a train. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
KELLYTON
On February 25th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 77 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On February 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A report was made and the civil process explained.
On February 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A report was made and the civil process explained.
On February 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. One was taken into custody and taken to Lee County Detention Center.
On February 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On March 1st Kellyton Fire Department was dispatched to Elm Trial after receiving a report of a woods fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
ROCKFORD
On February 26th Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On February 26th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Washington Street after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On February 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 37 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined it to be disabled.
On February 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On February 28th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On March 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Spring Street after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The person had left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
COTTAGE GROVE
On February 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 133 after receiving a report of a private property accident. No injuries were reported and the Deputy completed a report.
EQUALITY
On February 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 4 after receiving a report of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On March 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 18 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
RAY
On February 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 79 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined it to be disabled.
On February 25th Alonzo Blackmon a convicted Sex Offender who resides on CR 73 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 25th Ray First Responders were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
On February 28th Equality Fire was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On February 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 63 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On March 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
LAKE MARTIN
On February 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Daisy Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On February 24th Weogufka First Responders, Care Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was transported to UAB and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On February 25th a Deputy was dispatched to River Run after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Spoke with the complainant and the civil process explained.
SMYRNA
On March 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 83 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
