ARRESTS
On February 19th Deputy Moon arrested Shannon Lysandra Woods from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Probation Violations. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On February 19th Deputy Cook arrested Brian Khalil Pierson from Wetumpka, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Giving False Name to Law Enforcement. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On February 20th Lt. Keel arrested Marcus Derall Smith from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.
On February 21st Deputy Lipscomb arrested Diego Quatez Johnson from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $1,000 bond to await trial.
On February 24th Deputy Cook arrested Lavasco Mareaf Simmons from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On February 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Wood Driver Road after receiving a report of an Assault. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd was completed and the warrant process was explained.
STEWARTVILLE
On February 18th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
On February 18th Stewartville Fire Department and a Deputy were dispatched to Ham Road after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On February 19th Bobby Arron Saffold a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 70 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 19th Freddie Richard Johns Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 41 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 21st a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the subject.
On February 21st a Deputy was dispatched to several locations on Hwy 231 after receiving a report of several incidents of Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle with Thefts of Property involved. Reports were completed and the cases are under investigation.
On February 21st Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On February 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of criminal mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
WEOGUFKA
On February 19th Angela Sue Sexton a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 29 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update her quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 21st Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On February 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.
On February 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
HANOVER
On February 19th Deputy Cook attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On February 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
MOUNT OLIVE
On February 20th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
GOODWATER
On February 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 52 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On February 19th Henry Lee Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 9 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 19th Raymond Adam Chillura Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 20th Scott Alexander Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gamble Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
KELLYTON
On February 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 65 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and the issue was resolved without incident.
On February 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
ON February 19th Johnathan Wayne Vines a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 280 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 19th Charles Norman Ringo a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 97 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 19th Carey Tumane Leonard a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 101 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 20th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On February 20th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 77 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On February 20th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near CR 28 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On February 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 115 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On February 21st Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On February 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.
RICHVILLE
On February 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
On February 19th Nathaniel NMN Matthews a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 22 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 19 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On February 24th Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Danny Holman Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Shelby County Hospital.
ROCKFORD
On February 18th Hanover First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On February 19th Jack Logan Gayheart a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 25 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On February 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the scene prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On February 21st a Deputy and the Coroner were dispatched to CR 18 after a Hospice Nurse reported that a resident had passed away. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
On February 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject that was causing the problems had left the premises prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

On February 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd and the warrant process was explained.
EQUALITY
On February 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 18 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
On February 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

On February 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 322 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On February 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.

On February 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Pine Needle Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
