ARRESTS
On December 28th Deputy Jones arrested Fallan Nicole Barnes from Wetumpka, AL. on a warrant for Harassing Communications. She was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On December 28th Deputy Jones arrested Hoperia Stevece Johnson from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. She was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On December 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On December 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.
On December 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was made for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.
On December 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On December 27th Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
On December 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
On December 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.
On December 30th Sylacauga Ambulance, Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 53 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper
HANOVER
On December 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined everything to be alright.
On December 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle which appeared to be disabled.
On December 28th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 49 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On December 29th Stewartville First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 157 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Grandview Hospital.
On December 30th Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 59 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
KEYNO
On December 24th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On December 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
GOODWATER
On December 27th Goodwater Fire Department and Kellyton Fire Department were dispatched to CR 64 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On December 29th a Deputy was CR 511 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
KELLYTON
On December 27th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near CR 130 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no injuries reported and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
RICHVILLE
On December 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
ROCKFORD
On December 29th Ray First Responders and Goodwater Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On December 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
SPEED
On December 28th Equality First Responders, Haynes Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 304 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On December 25th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 133 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
EQUALITY
On December 27th Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 14 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
RAY
On December 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 91 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problem had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On December 24th Weogufka First Responders, Care Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to Cedar Circle after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Chilton County Hospital.
On December 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 15 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
SMYRNA
On December 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 48 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
