ARRESTS
On December 23rd Deputy Lucas arrested Jerry Wayne Hawkins from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On December 23rd Sgt. Jones arrested Sarah Christine Gannon from Grant, AL. on a warrant for Facilitating an Escape 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5,000 bond to await trial.
On December 25th Deputy Rudd arrested Jonathan NMN Deemer from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.
On December 25th Deputy Ward arrested Robert Brent Smith from Talladega, AL. on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault, Endangering Welfare of a Child X 4. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 6,000 bond to await trial.
On December 27th Deputy Fenn arrested Quinterria Ronshae Wyckoff from Jackson’s Gap, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Driving while Suspended and Improper Lane Usage. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On December 27th Sgt. Jones arrested Karen Estelle Cox from Rockford, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 4th. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.
On December 30th Deputy Lucas arrested Beverley Denise Hosmer from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear / Improper Lights, Failure to Display Insurance and Driving while Revoked x 2. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On December 31st Deputy Lucas arrested Jayne C. Carter from Leeds, AL. on the charge of Public Intoxication. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $500 bond to await trial.
On January 2nd Sgt. Jones arrested Justin Wade Ward from Weogufka , AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On January 4th Deputy Ward arrested Eric Thomas Burton from Clanton, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Failure to Display Insurance and Expired Tag. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On January 5th Deputy Lucas arrested Nathaniel Louis Norris from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Driver’s License. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On December 25th a Deputy was dispatched to White Oak Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On December 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Kelly Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On December 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Shiloh Park after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. A report was completed for an abandoned vehicle and the towing process was explained.
On December 30th Hanover and Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. One person was transported to U.A.B Hospital and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
STEWARTVILLE
On December 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On December 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On December 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Charlotte Lane after receiving a report of a Domestic Dispute. A report was completed and one was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
On December 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.
On December 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On December 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the person and they were arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the County Jail.
WEOGUFKA
On December 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Ferguson Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
On December 31st Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to U.A.B Hospital in Birmingham by Life Flight.
On December 31st Local Fire Departments and Deputies were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a structure fire. A report was completed and the fire was extinguished without incident.
HANOVER
On December 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined it to be disabled.
On December 30th Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and Kellyton medics were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
MOUNT OLIVE
On December 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Cr 123 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process explained.
On December 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Cr 49 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and one of them choose to leave the residence for the night.
KEYNO
On December 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On December 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 103 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On January 4th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
GOODWATER
On December 28th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On December 30th Corey Levell Eppes a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gaddis Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On December 30th Kenneth Ray Swindell a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On December 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 81 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
KELLYTON
On December 26th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On December 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On December 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On December 30th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to Old Salter Community Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.
ROCKFORD
On December 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and one was arrested for Theft of Property 4th.
On December 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 20 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
COTTAGE GROVE
On December 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 311 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On December 25th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 9 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On January 4th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
EQUALITY
On December 30th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 98 after receiving a report of a Civil Dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the Civil Process.
On January 1st Equality Fire Department was dispatched to CR 61 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On January 4th Equality First Responders, Haynes Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 51 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.
RAY
On December 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On December 23rd Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 135 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was taken to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On December 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On December 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

On January 4th Ray and Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 63 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving one fatality. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Trooper and Coroner.
On January 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a Funeral Escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

LAKE MARTIN
On December 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 20 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the vehicle. The Deputy determined that everything was ok.
On December 31 a Deputy was dispatched to Pleasure Island Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
