JAIL POPULATION AS OF DEC. 8 (28 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 32 INMATES
ARRESTS
On December 2nd Sgt. Jones arrested Jesse Chase Patterson from Asheville, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On December 3rd Deputy Lucas arrested Lapoleon Pardell Russell from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.
On December 4th Capt. Hammond arrested Barry Dixon Limbaugh JR. from Dadeville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On December 5th Investigator Keel arrested Alonzo NMN Blackmon from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On December 6th Investigator Keel arrested Coty Wayne Jones from Stewartville , AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.
On December 6th Investigator Keel arrested Shannon Lee Morris from Sylacauga, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 20,000 bond to await trial.
On December 6th Deputy Lucas arrested David Tyrell Benson from Rockford, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 1st. He was process and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.
On December 8th Deputy Lucas arrested Jimmy Lee Thomas from Alexander City, AL. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on the charges of Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the county jail on a $ 4,000 bond to await trial
‘On December 8th Investigator Keel arrested Jeffrey Dewayne Harrison from Birmingham, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Speeding and Failure to display Driver’s License. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On December 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.
On December 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Spoke with the complainant and the civil process was explained.
On December 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On December 4th Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On December 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 74 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On December 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
WEOGUFKA
On December 3rd Stewartville Fire Department was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On December 4th Weogufka Fire Department was dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On December 5th Weogufka Fire Department was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On December 5th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
HANOVER
On December 3rd Hanover First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 75 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
MOUNT OLIVE
On December 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On December 3rd Scott Alexander Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Gamble Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On December 6th Kellyton and Goodwater Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
KEYNO
On December 4th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
GOODWATER
On December 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of someone shooting into an occupied vehicle. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
KELLYTON
On December 4th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 119 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On December 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On December 7th Kellyton Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The Fire was extinguished without incident.
RICHVILLE
On December 3rd Rockford First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On December 4th Rockford and Richville Fire Departments were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
ROCKFORD
On December 2nd Deputy Lucas attended the Union Square monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the crime report for the area.
On December 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hill Street after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.
On December 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.
SPEED
On December 5th Equality and Richville Fire Departments were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On December 5th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
COTTAGE GROVE
On December 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 30 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.
RAY
On December 2nd Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 91 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On December 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 91 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with the complainant and the civil process explained.
On December 7th Ray Fire Department was dispatched to CR 63 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On December 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
LAKE MARTIN
On December 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Oakachoy Aerie Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On December 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Pouncy Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On December 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 16 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
