JAIL POPULATION AS OF AUG. 11 (37 MALES & 3 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 40 INMATES
ARRESTS
On August 5th Sgt. Jones arrested Rickey NMN Powell from Rockford, Al., on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and Criminal Mischief 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2500 bond to await trial.
On August 5th Investigator Keel arrested John Stacy Gilbert from Rockford, Al., on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed and released on a Court Order to await trial.
On August 6th Captain Hammond arrested Joshua Matthew Cleckler from Clanton, Al., on the charges of Failure to Appear/ Theft of Property 3rd and Failure to Appear/Criminal Trespassing 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2,000 bond to await trial.
On August 6th Sgt Jones arrested Lawrence Keith Stewart from Weogufka, Al., on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2,000 bond to await trial.
On August 6th Sgt Jones arrested Romie Lamar Judkins from Kellyton, Al., on the charge of Criminal Trespass 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $500 bond to await trial.
On August 8th Captain Hammond arrested Ryan Deanthony Nix from Alexander City, Al., on the charges of Theft of Property 1st and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 50,000 bond to await trial.
On August 9th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Angela Dawn Woodruff from Sylacauga, Al., on a 5-day Court Ordered Sanction. She was processed and booked into the County Jail to serve her sanction.
On August 9th Deputy Davenport arrested Michael Wayne Cleveland from Alexander City, Al., on the charges of Failure to Pay/Theft of Property 3rd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed and booked into the County Jail without bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On August 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. Upon further investigation one person was arrested on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On August 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.
On August 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy arrived on the scene and determined the business had been broken into. A report was made and the scene was turned over to the investigators.
On August 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject was located and it was determined that he had warrants from another county. Subject was transported to the county line and turned over to the other agency.
WEOGUFKA
On August 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Mack Miller Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
HANOVER
On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 154 after receiving a report of Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.
On August 10th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
MOUNT OLIVE
On August 11th Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
KEYNO
On August 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Oscar Martin Road after receiving a report of a disabled vehicle. The Deputy transported the subject to their residence.
KELLYTON
On August 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the Escort as requested.
On August 7th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On August 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.
On August 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On August 10th Kellyton First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper and Alexander City Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On August 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
ROCKFORD
On August 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On August 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
On August 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
SPEED
On August 7th Equality First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One was transported to Elmore County Hospital and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On August 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 45 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd and the warrant process explained.
COTTAGE GROVE
On August 8th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
RAY
On August 7th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 91 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
SMYRNA
On August 11th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 81 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
