JAIL POPULATION AS OF AUGUST 19 ( 24 MALES & 7 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 31 INMATES
ARRESTS
On August 14th Deputy Richardson arrested Cedarius J’Var Swain from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Speeding and Failure to Display Drivers License. He was processed and released on a $1,000 bond to await trial.
On August 16th Captain Hammond arrested Furniss Casey Muckenfuss from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On August 16th Deputy Rudd arrested Crystalea NMN Joiner from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On August 16th Lt. Burke arrested Jaron Tait Compton from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance and Expired Tag. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On August 16th Deputy Rudd arrested Angela Marie Taylor from Weogufka, AL. on the charge of Rendering a False Alarm. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
STEWARTVILLE
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Lovette Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On August 16th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of Trespassing. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On August 18th Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to CR 74 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.
On August 18th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
WEOGUFKA
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.
On August 15th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Lovette Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On August 16th Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On August 19th Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a deer. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
HANOVER
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
On August 19th Rockford and Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 157 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
MOUNT OLIVE
On August 16th Kellyton Medics and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 511 after receiving a report of a resident that had been bitten by a dog. A report was completed without incident.
On August 14th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On August 15th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 28 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
GOODWATER
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 94 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On August 14th Henry Lee Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 9 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
KELLYTON
On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 17th a Deputy and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 46 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On August 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Jordan Lodge Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
ROCKFORD
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to School Street after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 18th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On August 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and the warrant process was explained.
EQUALITY
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
RAY
On August 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On August 14th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hay 9 Near CR 71 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. The were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On August 16th Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to a residence on Hwy 22 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
LAKE MARTIN
On August 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Cedar Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
SMYRNA
