JAIL POPULATION AS OF AUGUST 18 (23 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 27 INMATES
ARRESTS
On August 15th Deputy Lipscomb arrested James Earl Turner from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Criminal Mischief 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.
On August 15th Deputy Davenport arrested Kenderius Jherel Brock from Talladega, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Switch Tag and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and released on a $2,000 bond to await trial.
On August 16th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Jessica Renee Davis from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On August 18th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Tyran Lecrest Marbury from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On August 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Crain Lane after receiving a report of an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
STEWARTVILLE
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.
On August 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm was false.
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/ Harassment and the warrant process was explained.
On August 18th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.
WEOGUFKA
On August 15th a Deputy Davenport attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On August 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
HANOVER
On August 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and transported them to their residence without incident
On August 12th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 59 after receiving a report for a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
MOUNT OLIVE
On August 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 116 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.
GOODWATER
On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 141 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and discovered that they were wanted by another Agency. The Deputy transported the subject to the county line to turn them over to the other Agency.
On August 15th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 66 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
KELLYTON
On August 12th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 130 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 14th Deputies and Kellyton Fire were dispatched to Johnson Drive after receiving a report of an attempted Arson. A report was completed for Arson,Criminal Mischief 1st and Burglary 3rd. The case is under investigation.
On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
RICHVILLE
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
ROCKFORD
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and completed a report for Harassment and warned the subject not to come back on the property.
On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
SPEED
On August 13th Equality First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
COTTAGE GROVE
On August 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 30 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.
RAY
On August 13th Equality Fire Department was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a residential alarm. The Fire Department check the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On August 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 32 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and one arrest was made.
LAKE MARTIN
On August 13th Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Spooky Hollow Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On August 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 132 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
SALEM
On August 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 118 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
