JAIL POPULATION AS OF APRIL 14 (32 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 38 INMATES
ARRESTS
On April 8th Deputy Rudd arrested Eddie Samuel Turner from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/ Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Display Driver’s License. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2,000 bond to await trial.
On April 9th Deputy Cook arrested Phillip Dwaine Ryals from Enterprise, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On April 9th Deputy Cook arrested Mary Alison Ward from Dadeville, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked, Failure to Display Insurance, and Failure to Register Vehicle. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $3,000 bond to await trial.
On April 10th Deputy Davenport arrested Brian Scott Cleveland from Jackson’s Gap AL. on the charge of Ex-Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5,000 bond to await trial.
On April 12th Deputy Davenport arrested Randy Lynn Robinett from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On April 13th Deputy Rudd arrested David Lamar Jones Jr. from Weogufka, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Display Tag. He was processed and released on a $1,000 bond to await trial.
On April 13th Deputy Cook arrested Billy Joel Miley from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Assault 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On April 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On April 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Peckerwood Creek Trail after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On April 12th Marble Valley, Hanover and Weogufka Fire Departments were dispatched to Crain Lane after receiving a report of a structure fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
STEWARTVILLE
On April 8th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On April 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 39 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. Deputy spoke with complainant and determined person left prior to Deputies arrival.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. Deputy spoke with complainant and determined person left prior to Deputies arrival.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report for a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Lovette Lane after receiving a report for a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
WEOGUFKA
On April 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.
HANOVER
On April 8th Kellyton Medics, Hanover First Responders and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On April 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On April 13th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On April 14th Stewartville and Hanover First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
MOUNT OLIVE
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Gamble Drive after receiving a report for a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
KELLYTON
On April 8th a Deputy and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
On April 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 115 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 12th Goodwater Ambulance was dispatched to CR 126 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of an unwanted person. Deputy spoke with complainant and determined person left prior to Deputies arrival.
RICHVILLE
On April 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 459 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 12th Rockford First Responders, Haynes Ambulance a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 29 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Three individuals were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
ROCKFORD
On April 13th Rockford and Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics and Haynes Life Flight, Rockford Police Department and Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Children’s Hospital and one was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center. The scene was turned over to the State Trooper and the Coroner.
COTTAGE GROVE
On April 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
EQUALITY
On April 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 20 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On April 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 4 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputy completed the report and the warrant process was explained.
RAY
On April 9th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On April 9th Ray and Equality First Responders, Alexander City Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On April 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On April 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 63 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
LAKE MARTIN
On April 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Honeysuckle Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
LAKE MITCHELL
On April 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Big Y Cove Loop after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
SMYRNA
On April 8th Deputy Rudd attended the Smyrna Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
