ARRESTS

On March 14^th, Sergeant Rudd arrested Andrew Lin Joiner, a citizen of Rockford, Alabama, on the charge of Revoked Bond. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

On March 14^th, Sergeant Rudd arrested Amanda Dawn Brooks, a citizen of Goodwater, Alabama, on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2^nd and Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $5000 bond.

On March 15^th, Investigator Ward arrested Terry Louis Kelly, a citizen of Kellyton, Alabama, on the charge of Criminal Trespassing 1^st. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2500 bond.

On March 15^th, Investigator Ward arrested Tony Dewayne Moore, a citizen of Kellyton, Alabama, on the charge of Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.

STEWARTVILLE

On March 11^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 68 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. The scene was turned over to ALEA

On March 12^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 70 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies arrived on scene and were advised that help for the motorist was on the way.

On March 13^th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies arrived on scene and were advised that help for the motorist was on the way.

On March 13^th, Deputies were dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.

On March 13^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 68 after receiving reports of Harassment by Communications. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.

On March 16^th, Deputies and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. The driver was evaluated by Stewartville First Responders and the scene was turned over to ALEA.

HANOVER

On March 14^th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. The accident was cleared from the roadway and 2 subjects were arrested and booked into the Coosa County Jail.

On March 16^th, Deputies were dispatched to Payne Road after receiving reports of an unwanted person. Upon Deputies arrival, the subject had departed. No report wanted/needed.

GOODWATER

On March 14^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 511 after receiving reports of a shooting. Negative contact was made with the vehicle that was reported to have fired the shots.

On March 16^th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 in response to a hot pursuit. Deputies were unable to locate said vehicle.

KELLYTON

On March 11^th, Deputies were dispatched to Mcclellan Road after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was found to be secure; no further action was taken.

On March 14^th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.

On March 15^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 81 after receiving reports of an Assault. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.

On March 13^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 81 after receiving reports of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.

RICHVILLE

On March 11^th, Deputies were dispatched to River Road after receiving reports of property damage. Deputies made contact with the logging company involved; a report was taken.

ROCKFORD

On March 11^th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.

On March 11^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 40 after requesting assistance with mental patient. Deputies arrived and requested Coosa 22 to transport the subject to the Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On March 11^th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231after receiving reports of a commercial burglar alarm. The alarm was determined to be false; no report needed.  

On March 12^th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. Negative contact was made with either subject.

On March 16^th, Deputies were dispatched to Washington Street after receiving reports of Harassment by Communication. A report was taken and the case is currently under investigation.  

COTTAGE GROVE/ HISSOP

On March 15^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 79 in response to a hot pursuit. The subject’s vehicle wrecked. Coosa 22 were dispatched and they transported subject to the Russell Medical Center. The scene was turned over to ALEA.

RAY

On March 11^th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 119 after receiving reports of a private property vehicle accident. A report was taken.

On March 12^th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving reports of a reckless driver. Deputies found said vehicle and did not observe it driving recklessly; no action was taken.

LAKE MARTIN

On March 13^th, Deputies were dispatched to Maggie Lane after receiving reports of a residential burglar alarm. The alarm was determined to be false; no report needed.
