ARRESTS
On May 3rd, Corporal Moon arrested Gary Lonell Bodrick of Kellyton, AL on a warrant for Failure to Appear on Domestic Violence 3rd. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a cash bond of $478.
On May 3rd, Chief Long arrested L. Beasley Lykes Jr. of Wetumpka, AL on warrants for Failure to Appear Expired Tag, Driving Under the Influence, Driving While Suspended. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
On May 3rd, Deputy Ward arrested Jerrylmiah Ladericka Powell of Selma, AL on a charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $2,000 bond.
On May 5th, Captain Hammond arrested Brandon Lee Broaderway of Alexander City, AL for Theft of Property 3rd and Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $7,500 bond.
On May 5th, Captain Hammond arrested Andrew Shane Jones of Goodwater, AL for Theft of Property 3rd and Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $7,500 bond.
On May 6th, Deputy Scott arrested Martha Dail Abernathy of Sylacauga, AL for Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail with a $4,000 bond.
On May 6th, Corporal Rudd arrested Thomas David Rice Jr. of Kellyton, AL on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Driving Under the Influence. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,200 cash bond.
On May 7th, Deputy Scott arrested Lyle Scott Cleveland of Sylacauga, AL for Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $4,000 bond.
On May 7th, Deputy Ward arrested Noelle Hope Davis of Alexander City, AL on a warrant for Failure to Pay for Gas. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $500 bond.
On May 7th, Deputy Scott arrested Terri Nicole Pugh of Alexander City, AL for Possession of Controlled Substance and Domestic Violence 3rd/ Assault. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $7,000 bond.
On May 8th, Deputy Ward arrested Don Eric Barnes of Adamsville, AL for Driving Under the Influence. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
On May 9th, Deputy Bradberry arrested Caitlyn Paige Bowman of Talladega, AL for Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $4,000 bond.
On May 9th, Deputy Bradberry arrested Marquis Ziquiez Jones of Talladega, AL for Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Carrying Pistol without a Permit. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
On May 9th, Deputy Bradberry arrested Jacorven Dashawn Ousley of Talladega for Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Coosa County Jail on a $4,000 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On May 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of domestic dispute. A report was taken for Domestic Violence 3rd and case is under investigation.
On May 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to CR 66 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. An investigation was conducted, and crime was found to have been committed in another jurisdiction.
On May 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to the US Hwy 280 area after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked residence and everything was secure.
On May 4th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of domestic dispute. A report was taken for Domestic Violence 3rd and case is under investigation.
On May 4th, Sylacauga Ambulance, Stewartville First Responder and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to the US Hwy 280 area after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and scene was released to Troopers.
On May 4th, Deputies and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and scene was released to Troopers.
On May 6th, Deputies, Sylacauga Ambulance, and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of a child having difficulty breathing. The child was treated on scene.
On May 9th, Sylacauga Ambulance and Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to the US Hwy 231 area after receiving a request for medical treatment. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center without incident.
WEOGUFKA
On May 3rd, The Coosa County Litter Abatement Officer was dispatched to CR 15 after receiving a report of Illegal Dumping. Trash was collected and the case is under investigation.
On May 5th, Deputies, Ray, Stewartville, Hanover, Richville, and Marble Valley Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a report of a structure fire. No injuries were reported and scene was turned over to fire departments.
On May 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Prater Road after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
On May 6th, Weogufka First Responders, Stewartville First Responders, and Goodwater Ambulance were dispatched to Lake Mitchell Drive after a resident requested medical treatment. R The resident was transported to St. Vincent Hospital.
HANOVER
On May 5th, Sylacauga Ambulance, Stewartville First Responder, Deputies and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to the CR 74 area after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and scene was released to Troopers.
MARBLE VALLEY
On May 3rd, Sylacauga Ambulance and Marble Valley First Responders were dispatched to White Oak after a resident requested medical treatment. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
KELLYTON
On May 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to the US Hwy 280 area after receiving a report of Disorderly Conduct at a business. All parties had calmed down and no report was wanted upon Deputy’s arrival.
On May 4th, Deputies were dispatched to the Kellyton Water Authority after receiving a report of a commercial business alarm. Contact was made at Kellyton Water Authority and the alarm was reset.
On May 5th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
On May 5th, Deputies were dispatched to the US Hwy 280 area after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was completed, and case is under investigation.
On May 5th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 32 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. Contact was made with suspects and both parties were arrested on scene.
On May 5th, Deputies were dispatched to Red Leaf Trail after receiving a report of Domestic Violence 3rd. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
On May 6th, Deputies and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to the US Hwy 280 area after receiving a request for medical treatment. The resident refused transport; no report taken.
GOODWATER
On May 4th, Scott Alexander Nicholas, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on Gamble Drive, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
ROCKFORD
On May 5th, Deputies were dispatched to US Hwy 231 after receiving a report of commercial burglar alarm. Deputy checked business and everything was secure.
On May 5th, Deputies were dispatched to the AL Hwy 9 area after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
On May 7th, Kellyton Medics, Rockford First Responders, Deputies and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to the US Hwy 231 area after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and scene was released to Troopers.
On May 8th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 45 after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
RAY
On May 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to Cedar Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and everything was secure.
On May 7th, Kellyton Medics, Ray First responders and Deputies were dispatched to Small Loop after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. Deputies contacted the offender, and an arrest was made for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.
On May 7th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a commercial business alarm. Deputies checked business and everything was secure.
On May 8th, Equality First Responders were dispatched to AL Hwy 22 after receiving a request for medical assistance. The resident was treated on scene.
On May 8th, Kellyton Medics, Goodwater Medics, Rockford First Responders and Ray First Responders were dispatched to CR 155 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 8th, Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 97 after receiving a report that a resident needed medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
EQUALITY
On May 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to CR 51 after receiving a report of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputy checked business and everything was secure.
On May 4th, Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to AL Hwy 259 after a resident requested medical treatment. Resident was treated on scene.
On May 5th, Equality First Responders and Kellyton Ambulance were dispatched to CR 61 after a resident requested medical treatment. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 8th, Deputies were dispatched to CR 14 after receiving a report of a civil disturbance. No report was wanted.
MT OLIVE
On May 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was taken and case is under investigation.
KEYNO
On May 3rd, Gary Lonell Bodrick, a Registered Sex Offender, who lives on CR 42, reported to the Sheriff’s Office for his Quarterly Sex Offender Registration.
On May 9th, Kellyton Medics and Deputies were dispatched to CR RD 42 after a resident requested medical treatment. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
LAKE MARTIN
On May 7th, Deputies were dispatched to Whispering Cove after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and everything is secure.
