JAIL POPULATION AS OF MAY 17 (15 MALES & 5 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 20 INMATES
ARRESTS
On May 11th Investigator Keel arrested Emily Ann Mitchell from Kellyton, AL. on warrants for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 15,000 bond to await trial.
On May 12th Deputy Fenn arrested Michael Paul Eubanks from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On May 12th Capt. Hammond arrested Kristopher James Murphy from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Escape 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On May 13th Capt. Hammond arrested Tyra Jordan Faulkner from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Theft of Property 3rd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.
On May 15th Corporal Rudd arrested Thomas Anthony Lee from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Criminal Trespass 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 500 bond to await trial.
On May 17th Deputy Dawson arrested Helene Showe Johnson from Dadeville, AL. on the charge of Murder. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 75,000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On May 15th Marble Valley Fire Department was dispatched to Kelly Lane after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
STEWARTVILLE
On May 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined everything to be ok.
On May 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
On May 11th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 13th Stewartville First responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 150 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Grandview Medical Center.
On May 13th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On May 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problem left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On May 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
WEOGUFKA
On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
HANOVER
On May 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On May 14th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 75 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
KEYNO
On May 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On May 17th Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
GOODWATER
On May 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined it to be disabled.
KELLYTON
On May 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and one person was arrested for the Possession of Marijuana and transported to the County Jail.
On May 13th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 62 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.
On May 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 28 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.
On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 126 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problem had left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
RICHVILLE
On May 12th Richville Volunteer Fire Department and Alabama Forestry were dispatched to CR 27 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On May 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.
On May 15th Richville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to CR 1 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
On May 16th Richville First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
ROCKFORD
On May 11th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Circle Drive after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On May 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Jackson Street after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.
COTTAGE GROVE
On May 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke with both parties and explained the civil process.
EQUALITY
On May 13th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 4 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On May 14th Equality First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On May 14th Equality First Responders, Haynes Ambulance a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
On May 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 20 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicle.
RAY
On May 16th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a medical alert alarm. The resident was assisted without incident.
SMYRNA
On May 17th Goodwater Medics and Deputies were dispatched to CR 86 after receiving a report of an Assault. One person was arrested and transported to the County Jail after Deputies found the victim of the assault deceased. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Investigator and Coroner
