JAIL POPULATION AS OF SEPT. (27 MALES & 9 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 36 INMATES
ARRESTS
On September 3rd Investigator Keel arrested Todd Allan Duffee from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 30,000 bond to await trial.
On September 3rd Sgt. Jones arrested Kaylyn Lanae Jones from Stewartville, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 7,000 bond to await trial.
On September 3rd Sgt. Jones arrested Deena Lavonne York from Childersburg, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 7,000 bond to await trial.
On September 3rd Sgt. Jones arrested Chancy Berry Temple from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 7,000 bond to await trial.
On September 4th Capt. Hammond arrested Angela Gay Goodwin from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Criminal Trespass 3rd. She was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.
On September 4th Investigator Keel arrested Elda Lee Wooten from Rockford, AL. on the charges of Hindering Prosecution 2nd, Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 16,000 bond to await trial.
On September 4th Investigator Keel arrested Jeremy Wayne Taylor from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.
On September 4th Deputy Rudd arrested Phoenix Marie Butler from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Failure to Display Insurance. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On September 6th Investigator Keel arrested Calvin Junior Culpepper from Alexander City, Al. on the charges of Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $15,000 bond to await trial.
On September 6th Investigator Keel arrested Lendia Belyue Culpepper from Alexander City, Al. on the charges of Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $15,000 bond to await trial.
On September 6th Deputy Davenport arrested Casie Jane Ellis from Montgomery, AL. on a warrant for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5,000 bond to await trial.
On September 6th Deputy Davenport arrested James O’Brien Spears from Kellyton, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Theft of Property 1st, Criminal Mischief 3rd and Identity Theft. He was processed and placed in the County Jail with no bond to await trial.
On September 6th Deputy Davenport arrested Christopher Devin Slay from Sylacauga, AL. on a Court Ordered 48 Hour Sanction. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve the 48 Hr. Sanction.
On September 7th Deputy Davenport arrested Amanda Dawn Brooks from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2,500 bond to await trial.
On September 8th Deputy Davenport arrested Antonio Jamal Gissendanner from Ozark, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,000 bond to await trial.
On September 8th Deputy Davenport arrested Jason Lashawn Crawford from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On September 8th Sgt. Jones arrested Jeffrey NMN McKinney from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Ex-Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 12,500 to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On September 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject had left prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On September 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 117 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On September 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but could not locate the vehicle.
On September 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Lovette Lane after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy spoke with the complainant and explained the warrant process.
WEOGUFKA
On September 3rd Kellyton Medics, Weogufka First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 56 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
MOUNT OLIVE
On September 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment.
KELLYTON
On September 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On September 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR85 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy transported the subject from the residence and warned the subject not to return to the residence.
On September 6th A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
RICHVILLE
On September 5th Deputy Rudd attended the monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On September 6th a Deputy was dispatched to River Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
ROCKFORD
On September 2nd Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Washington Street after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On September 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Nixburg Street after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.
On September 6th Rockford and Ray Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 8 after receiving a report of a brush fire. The fire was extinguished without incident.
EQUALITY
On September 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On September 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
RAY
On September 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Oat Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
On September 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 259 after receiving a report of a Stolen Vehicle. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On September 6th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. One was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the State Trooper.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On September 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy could not locate the subject.
