ARRESTS
On August 26th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Tiana Brene Riley from Rockford, Al., for Failure to Appear/Court Ordered Sanction. She was processed and booked into the County Jail on a Court Ordered Sanction.
On August 27th Investigator Keel arrested Deunate Tarez Jews from Childersburg, Al., for Failure to Pay/ Non-Support of a Child.. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $2,000.00 bond to await trial.
On August 28th Chief Long arrested Frederick NMN Bishop from Lineville, Al., on the charge of Negotiating Non-Negotiable Worthless Instrument. He was processed and released on a $500.00 bond to await trial.
On August 28th Chief Long arrested Charles Robert Dyal II from Sylacauga, Al., for Failure to Appear/Attempting to Elude, Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and booked into the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On August 30th Sheriff Howell arrested Jeffery Robert Lee from Deatsville, Al., on the charges of Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Criminal Littering and Criminal Trespass 3rd. He was processed and booked into the County Jail on a $18,000 bond to await trial.
On August 30th Chief Long arrested Amber Lynn Shanton from Stewartville, Al., on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was processed and released on a $7,000 bond to await trial.
On September 1st Deputy Rudd arrested Kaitlyn Marie Streets from Sylacauga, Al., for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Driver’s License. She was processed and released on a $1,000 bond to await trial.
On September 1st Deputy Rudd arrested Joshua Lane Pruitt from Sylacauga, Al., on the charges of Disorderly Conduct/Disturbing the Peace. He was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On August 27th Marble Valley Fire was dispatched to Peckerwood Creek Trail after receiving a report of a Structure Fire. Fire was extinguished without incident.
STEWARTVILLE
On August 27th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of an Unresponsive Person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
On August 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On August 30th Stewartville and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 68 after a resident requested Medical Assistance. Resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On August 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a Suspicious Vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined everything to be ok.
On August 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On August 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
WEOGUFKA
On August 29th Local Fire Departments were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a structure fire. Fire was extinguished without incident.
HANOVER
On August 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. Deputy completed the escort as requested.
GOODWATER
On August 28th Scott NMN Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender who resides on Gamble Road, reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
KELLYTON
On August 26th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.
On August 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Residence was checked and the alarm was determined to be false.
On August 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Elm Trail after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 97 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Residence was checked and the alarm was determined to be false.
On August 31st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined the alarm to be false.
RICHVILLE
On August 28th Richville Fire was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a brush fire. Fire was extinguished without incident.
ROCKFORD
On August 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 118 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. Vehicle was located and everything was ok.
On August 31st a Deputy was dispatched to River Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On August 31st a Deputy was dispatched to Circle Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
EQUALITY
On August 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 2 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy located the subject and the subject was warned not to come back on the property.
On August 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 91 after receiving a report of a suspicious vVehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area but could not locate the vehicle.
On August 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Meadow Oaks Court after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the person.
RAY
On August 27th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 63 after a resident requested medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On September 1st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving information on some found property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
SALEM
On August 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Browns Loop after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

SMYRNA
On August 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a Civil Dispute. The Deputy spoke with the complainant and explained the Civil Process.
