ARRESTS
On May 15th Capt. Hammond arrested Gregory Earl Thomas from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 2nd, Theft of Property 4th, and Burglary 3rd X 2. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 62,000 bond to await trial.
On May 15th Deputy Jones arrested Douglas Wayne McDonald from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and released on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.
On May 16th Lt. Keel arrested Michael Luke Vermillion from Coldwater, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance and Attempting to Elude. He was processed and released on a $4000 bond to await trial.
On May 18th Deputy Rudd arrested Naporcha Loraine Swain from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Operating a Vehicle with a Learners License. She was processed and released on a $ 1,000 bond to await trial.
On May 18th Lt. Keel arrested Ryan Blake Taylor from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve a 5-Day Drug Court Sanction.
On May 18th Deputy Richardson arrested Camryn Seth Collier from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay / Theft of Property 4th. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY
On May 20th Marble Valley Fire Department was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a power pole on fire. The fire was extinguished and the scene was turned over to Central Alabama Electric.
STEWARTVILLE
On May 14th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Friendship Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On May 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hardy Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.
On May 15th Bobby Aaron Saffold a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 70 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On May 17th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that everything was ok.
On May 17th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the subject causing the problems left the residence without incident.
On May 17th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 150 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
On May 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of Harassment. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.
On May 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Jim Helm Road after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputy located the music and asked that the volume be turned down.
Om May 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that everything was ok.

On May 15th Angela Sue Sexton a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 29 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update her quarterly Sex Offender information.
On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 56 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
On May 17th Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
HANOVER
On May 20th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of Lost Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 137 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
On May 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 96 after receiving a report of domestic dispute. A report was completed and the issue was resolved after the subject causing the problems had left the residence.

On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to Elm Trail after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.
On May 14th a Deputy was dispatched to China Berry Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On May 14th Kellyton Medics were dispatched CR 316 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On May 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a request for a child welfare check. The Deputy located the children and the case was turned over to the Department of Human Resources.
On May 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.
