JAIL POPULATION AS OF JANUARY 28 (29 MALES & 12 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 41 INMATES
ARRESTS
On January 23rd Chief Davidson arrested Mykaylin Danielle Piotrowski from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On January 23rd Deputy Davenport arrested Malik Jamal Burns from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and released after fines were paid.
On January 24th Lt. Hammond arrested Jonthan Michael Trucks from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 1st and Theft of Property 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $15,000 bond to await trial.
On January 25th Deputy Rudd arrested Brandon Ray Whisenhunt from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2500 bond to await trial.
On January 26th Deputy Rudd arrested James Cory Bryant from Weogufka, AL. on a warrant for Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2500 payout amount to the Department of Human Resources.
On January 27th Deputy Lipscomb arrested April Nicole Barnes from Talladega, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Theft of Property 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On January 27th Deputy Davenport arrested Obie NMN Moates III from Clanton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Failure to Register Vessel. He was processed and released after fines were paid.
On January 28th Deputy Jones arrested J.C. Matthew Laddie from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Criminal Mischief 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $500 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
MARBLE VALLEY
On January 25th a Deputy was dispatched to South Cove Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.
On January 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Laurie Ann Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 5 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
STEWARTVILLE
On January 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.
On January 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of an unwanted person at a residence. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the subject left the residence without incident.
On January 26th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 27th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
WEOGUFKA
On January 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
HANOVER
On January 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
KEYNO
On January 26th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
KELLYTON
On January 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 326 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 26th Thomas Louis Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 85 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
RICHVILLE
On January 26th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
ROCKFORD
On January 24th Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hill Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On January 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 129 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
EQUALITY
On January 25th Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
RAY
On January 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 32 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
On January 22nd J.C. Winslett Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hwy 22 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On January 23rd Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 73 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On January 24th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On January 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.
SMYRNA
On January 23rd Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On January 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Cherry Hill Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and determined that he had an outstanding warrant for Criminal Mischief 3rd. A report was completed and one arrest was made.
