ARRESTS
On October 26th Deputy House arrested Jervis Kennard Whetstone from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and released after payment was made to the Department of Human Resources.
On October 26th Deputy House arrested Steven Kyle Yarbrough from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. He was processed and released after fines were paid.
On October 26th Deputy House arrested Angela Sheri Marbury from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. She was processed and released on a $2000 bond to await trial.
On October 27th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Shane Eugen Carden from Stewartville, AL on warrants for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault x 2 and Shooting into an Unoccupied Dwelling or Vehicle. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 15,000 bond to await trial.
On October 27th Deputy Rudd arrested Eddie Samuel Turner from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2000 bond to await trial.
On October 29th Lt. Hammond arrested Shane Anthony Vernon from Rockford, AL. on the charges of Burglary 3rd, Theft of Property 2nd and Escape 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $285,000 bond to await trial.
On October 29th Deputy House arrested Ryan David Weaver from Verbena, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5000 bond to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY
On October 28th Marble Valley First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Crain Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
STEWARTVILLE
On October 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On October 25th a Deputy and the Coroner were dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a deceased person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
On October 26th Billy Louis Ford Sr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 150 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.
On October 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.
On October 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 78 after receiving a report of someone Shooting Towards an Occupied Dwelling. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On October 29th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On October 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 74 after receiving a report of a Burglary in progress. The suspect had run from the home owner and after a search of the property the suspect was located and arrested.
HANOVER
On October 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
On October 28th Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On October 29th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a domestic incident. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
KEYNO
On October 24th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 42 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On October 26th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of a two-vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
KELLYTON
On October 24th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 9 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On October 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and shortly thereafter the vehicle was returned to the owner.
On October 27th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.
On October 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
RICHVILLE
On October 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On October 27th Richville First Responders, Care Ambulance, a Deputy were dispatched to Old Salter Community Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
ROCKFORD
On October 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
On October 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.
EQUALITY
On October 26th Deputy Jones attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
RAY
On October 24th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On October 27th Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 32 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
LAKE MARTIN
On October 26th Equality First Responders, and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 20 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center by Personal Vehicle and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
LAKE MITCHELL
On October 23rd a Deputy was dispatched to Lakeland Drive after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On October 29th a Deputy was dispatched to Water Spring Court after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment was completed and one subject was arrested.
