ARRESTS
On April 3rd Deputy Jones arrested Johnathan Lebron Harrell from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On April 3rd Lt. Burke arrested Christopher Anthoney Chapman from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2500 bond to await trial.
On April 4th Lt. Burke arrested James Michael Little from Clanton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving While Suspended. He was processed and released after fines were paid.
On April 6th Lt. Hammond arrested Joseph William Scoggins from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $15,000 bond to await trial.

On April 6th Deputy House arrested Early Lanard Parker from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance, Switched Tag, No Child Restraint and Operating a Vehicle Without Driver’s License. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On April 7th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Yolanda Faye Hurst from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving While Revoked and Improper Lights. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On April 7th Lt. Burke arrested Jeremy Allen Scott from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Public Intoxication. He was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.
On April 8th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Christopher Lee Fisher from Weogufka, AL. on the charge of Child Abuse. He was processed and released on a $5000 bond to await trial.
On April 8th Deputy Jones arrested Austin O’Neal Skipper from Vincent, AL on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On April 8th Lt. Burke arrested Jennifer Cochran Mayfield from Billingsley, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Speeding, Failure to Display Insurance, and Driving While Suspended. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On April 9th Deputy Lipscomb arrested David Edward Jones from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/ Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.
On April 9th Deputy Jones arrested Rickey NMN Powell from Rockford, AL. on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $1000 bond to await trial.
On April 9th Deputy Jones arrested Teresa Ann Matthews from Rockford, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd / Harassment. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $1000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
WEOGUFKA
On April 3rd Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 55 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
On April 8th a Deputy and The Department of Human Resources was dispatched to CR 132 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute involving a child. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Child Abuse.
HANOVER
On April 7th Hanover and Stewartville First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a three vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
KELLYTON
On April 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 65 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment.
On April 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 7th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 48 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
On April 9th a Deputy was dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
RICHVILLE
On April 6th Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
ROCKFORD
On April 3rd Sheriff Wilson attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On April 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 109 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and two subjects were arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On April 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 311 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process was explained.
RAY
On April 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.
SALEM
On April 8th Richville First Responders and Care Ambulance were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to a local Hospital.
