ARRESTS
On June 5th Deputy Hale arrested Charles Augusta Purnell III from Hoover, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance. He was processed and released after fines were paid.
On June 5th Lt. Hammond arrested Santana Ann Kelley from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.
On June 6th Deputy Rudd arrested Amethyst Dawn Simpson from Dadeville, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failure to Appear -Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $6000 bond to await trial.
On June 6th Deputy Rudd arrested Jose L. Hernandez from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2500 bond to await trial.
On June 9th Lt. Burke arrested Shane Eugen Carden from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and released on a $2500 bond to await trial.
On June 10th Deputy House arrested Robert Whitfield Shepherd from Hoover, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 1st, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Speeding, Driving While Suspended, Switched Tag and Operating a Vehicle Without Insurance. He was processed and released on a $5000 bond to await trial.
On June 11th Deputy House arrested Brody Thomas Nelson from Ashland, AL. on the charges of Driving Under the Influence and Minor in Possession of Alcohol. He was processed and released on a $3000 bond to await trial.
On June 11th Deputy House arrested Wendy Diane Davis from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Criminal Trespass 2nd. She was processed and released on a Personal Recognizance Bond to await trial.
On June 11th Deputy House arrested Jason Scott Bearden from Stewartville, AL. on the charges of Criminal Trespass 2nd and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was processed and released on a Personal Recognizance Bond to await trial.
On June 12th Deputy House arrested Gabriel Ross Hammonds from Ashland, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $1000 bond to await trial.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On June 5th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to the 3400 Block of CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On June 6th Stewartville and Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 53 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
On June 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 68 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On June 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Ferguson Road after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and two subjects were arrested for Criminal Trespassing 2nd.
WEOGUFKA
On June 8th Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.
HANOVER
On June 9th Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
KELLYTON
On June 10th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 97 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.
ROCKFORD
On June 5th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 109 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
On June 5th Deputy Rudd attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.
On June 9th Stewartville First Responders and Kellyton were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP
On June 9th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 93 after receiving a report of Reckless Endangerment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.
EQUALITY
On June 5th Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to CR 20 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to a local hospital.
On June 8th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.
